While opinions differ about the attractiveness of Yell (the name means barren) it certainly has a great camping bod in the renovated gatehouse lodge of Windhouse just east of Mid Yell. The village of Cullievoe in the north of Yell is worth visiting, there is an attractive beach a couple of miles further north at Breckon. There is also an attractive beach further south at West Sandwick.
Unst is reputed to mean eagle isle and indeed sea eagles did breed there at one time. They are returning to some of the more remote parts of Scotland, but if there are any on Unst Scottish Natural Heritage is keeping it secret. Sea eagles are larger than golden eagles with white markings on their wings.
